Important KAPA information request
Information regarding third-party payors needed by Monday

LOUISVILLE — Today the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association Government Affairs Committee made a presentation to Representative Steve Nunn (Glasgow) regarding our attempt to get EMS 2000 legislation introduced into the upcoming legislative session.

Rep. Nunn advised our committee that he would attempt to have this issue placed on the agenda of the House Health and Welfare Committee on Wednesday. However, Rep. Nunn requested additional information which he suggested would be helpful.

To assist Rep. Nunn, the Government Affairs Committee and the KAPA Board of Directors must gather a great deal of information prior to this presentation.

One of the issues the committee wants to raise concerns poor reimbursement from third party payors. To emphasize this problem we need some basic information from ambulance service directors as soon as possible.
