EMT regulation revisions entering final lap By
JOHN HULTGREN FRANKFORT The final amendments and additions to the Kentucky EMT regulations are finally complete. According to Robert Calhoun, EMS Branch Manager, the regulations have been forwarded to the Legislative Research Commission for the final steps in the regulatory approval process. "They will be published in the Register December 1 and a public hearing will be held December 21 if requested, " Calhoun said. According to Calhoun, a public hearing on these proposed regulations will be held if requested at 9:00 a.m., E.S.T., December 21, 1999, in the Auditorium of the Health Services Building in Frankfort. Anyone or any organization that wants to request a public hearing and wishes to comment on the proposed regulations must notify in writing by December 14, 1999, Kevin Devlin, Cabinet Regulation Coordinator, Office of the General Counsel, Cabinet for Health Services, 275 East Main Street -4 West, Frankfort, KY 40621."
