Michael D. Payton EMS Building to be dedicated Sunday

MORELAND — West Lincoln County EMS will formally dedicate their headquarters building on Aug. 29 as the Michael D. Payton EMS Building.

The dedication ceremony will be held at 4520 Old Highway 127 North in Moreland, Kentucky, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Michael D. Payton, the original EMS Director for West Lincoln County EMS from 1983 until his death on Aug. 29, 1998, was instrumental in implementing the service and designed the headquarters building.

The public and emergency services personnel are invited to attend and pay their final respects to Michael Payton. For additional information contact Connie Miller at 606-346-4519.
