Funeral arrangements for Paramedic Chris Hall

LANCASTER — The funeral for Paramedic Chris Hall will be held Thursday, June 25, at 11:00 AM EDT, at the Rockcastle County High School in Mount Vernon. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the high school. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Dowell and Martin Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.

Flower orders may be sent to any of the flower shops in Mount Vernon and they can deliver them to the high school.

Hall, a paramedic for Garrard County EMS and Clay County EMS, was killed returning home at the completion of his Garrard County EMS shift in a single vehicle crash on June 21.

"Garrard County EMS has requested a funeral with honors," said Kentucky Board of EMS executive director Charles O'Neal. Kentucky Fire Commission executive director Ronnie Day will be coordinating the ceremony.

O'Neal has asked that all EMS agencies consider lowering their flags to half-staff until the completion of the funeral.
