Funeral arrangements for Patty Jeffries Kelly

LOUISVILLE — Patricia Sue Jeffries Kelly, 45, a longtime Kentucky Board of EMS employee responsible for initial EMT certifications and educational institutions, passed away Saturday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

Patty became ill less than one month ago. She recently celebrated a marriage and the arrival of her first grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Kelly; her sons, Robbie and Mark Jeffries; her mother, Mildred Holmes; her sisters, Joyce Harrell, Beverly Bevill and Peggy Shuck; her brothers, Donnie and Buddy Holmes; her stepsons, Larry and Chris Kelly; and her grandchild, Carter Jeffries.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8, from 2 - 8 p.m. at the Shannon Funeral Home, 1124 W. Main St., Shelbyville, KY, 40065 (502-633-1266). The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
