Free EMS Administrators Workshop in April

LOUISVILLE — A free EMS Administrators Workshop will be held in Shepherdsville on April 13 - 14. The workshop is sponsored by the Region 2 North Central EMS Directors Committee of the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services.

Workshop topics include:

  • Friday, Apr. 13 7 pm - 9 pm: Understanding Kentucky Provider Regulations

  • Saturday, Apr. 14 8 am - 9:45 am: Provider Inspection Guide

  • Saturday, Apr. 14 10 am - 11:45 am: Budget Planning

  • Saturday, Apr 14 11:45 am - 1 pm: Free lunch (provided by Yellow EMS)

  • Saturday, Apr 14: 1 pm - 2:45 pm: Human Resources

  • Saturday, Apr 14: 3:00 pm - 4:45 pm: Building a Paper Trail

The workshop will be held at the Zoneton Fire Dept., 5328 N Preston Hwy, in Shepherdsville.

Lodging information: A block of rooms has been reserved for "Kentucky EMS" under the group name of Kentucky Board of EMS/Zoneton Fire at the Jameson Inn, 6516 Signature Drive, Louisville (phone 502-968-4100). The rooms are all double occupancy, non-smoking, at the state rate of $69. The rooms are blocked until April 8.
