Funeral arrangements for Patricia Castle

PAINTSVILLE — Patricia Ann Bowens Castle, 42, of Hagerhill, died Thursday in Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville.

Castle was an emergency medical technician who had been employed by DHP Inc. in Pike County, First Response in Johnson County, and Respond Ambulance in Floyd County. She has been involved in an ambulance accident several years ago that left her with a long-term disability.

Her husband, James Castle, survives.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Sunday and until time of services Monday at the church.

Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville is in charge of arrangements.

There will be full EMS honors given. Anyone interested in participating in these
