LifeNet hires new program director

LifeNet Air Medical Services Press Release

FRANKFORTLifeNet Air Medical Services of Kentucky is pleased to announce Bryant Shumate as the newly appointed Program Director.

Bryant is certainly no stranger to the Air Medical Transport Arena having worked for LifeNet in the past in the capacity of Medical Base Supervisor for KY 2 based in Mt. Sterling. He comes to LifeNet with a myriad of qualifications as well as 17 years experience in the field of Emergency Medical Services.

Bryant has worked in many settings during his career including Critical Care, ER, and Flight Nursing as well as serving as a Paramedic in Emergency Medical Services in eastern Kentucky. He holds a BSN from Morehead State University and a Masters in Business Administration from Sullivan University.

LifeNet Kentucky is fortunate to have someone with such a diverse background as Bryant and we look forward to his leadership.

LifeNet Air Medical Services of Kentucky has been in operation since 1990 and operates 6 Air Medical Helicopters throughout the commonwealth. LifeNet is a division of Air Methods Corporation.
