paramedic dies following car crash

HOPKINSVILLE

Yellow EMS of Christian County paramedic Hitomi "Tomi" Wilhelm,
38, died Friday following a single vehicle accident near her home in
Hopkinsville.
Wilhelm
also worked part-time for Christian County Fire and was a member
of both the Crofton Volunteer Fire Department and the Crofton
First Responders.
She is survived by two children, Ashley and Matt; her parents,
Taeko and Jim Binkley, and her fiancee, Kenneth Gray.
Visitation will be held today from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lamb's
Funeral Home on Lafayette Road in Hopkinsville. The funeral will
be held tomorrow at the funeral home. Burial will follow at
Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
EMS and fire personnel attending are requested to wear their
uniforms.
