SKY Med expands operations, will open Paducah base

SKY MED Press Release

PADUCAH SKY MED, a subsidiary of PHI Air Medical Group, is pleased to announce that operations will begin from their Paducah base in April.  SKY MED will provide pediatric and adult critical care and trauma air medical services, and is based at the Farrington Air Port near Paducah, Kentucky.

“We are very pleased to announce the expansion of SKY MED services here in Western Kentucky,” says Paul Ferrell, Program Director for SKY MED I Madisonville.  “SKY MED is committed to augmenting the excellent care provided by the EMS and Healthcare agencies throughout Western Kentucky Region, and our program expansion is testimony to our commitment and investment in providing care for the citizens of the Commonwealth.”  Ferrell adds, “We look forward to working closely with Mr. Jamey Locke and his staff at SKY MED II of Paducah to meet or exceed the expectations of each of our customers.”

“Western Kentucky residents are very fortunate to have PHI Air Medical Group interested in expanding services into the Purchase area of the Commonwealth,” says Locke.  “PHI will bring the same caliber of services that are currently provided in their other programs at Alexandria, Virginia; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.”
