New EMS educational institution in Louisville

EMS Academy of Louisville Press Release

LOUISVILLE The EMS Academy of Louisville is a new educational institution providing paramedic classes and continuing education opportunities in the Louisville area.

Our Medical Director, Ron Crafton MD, started his career at Bullitt County EMS in the 80's and is currently an Emergency Physician working with a group that serves both Norton Audubon and Norton Southwest. He has a long history of teaching and research in EMS including a fellowship as the Medical Director of the Cincinnati Fire Department.  Our Clinical Coordinator is Buck Feris.  A paramedic since 1996, Buck has worked in several settings including 911 and critical care systems.  Buck currently works as a Fire Fighter/Paramedic at Anchorage Fire and EMS.  He has several years of teaching experience including recent paramedic classes held in the Louisville area.

The EMS Academy of Louisville will be providing several programs in the near future starting with a paramedic class beginning April 6th.  More information can be found on our website at www.emsaol.com.
