New air medical service in Madisonville licensed

LOUISVILLE — A new helicopter air medical program, SKYMED, was licensed yesterday by the Kentucky Board of EMS.

Operated by Petroleum Helicopters, Inc., the program is based at 428 N. Scott St. in Madisonville, Ky. (Phone: 270-821-1294.) The service directors are Howard Ragsdale and David Webb. The geographical service area is all of Kentucky, and the program medical director is Mohan Rao, M.D. Their license number is 7015.
