KAT will base aircraft in Anderson County next month

LEXINGTON Kentucky Aeromedical Team (KAT) is pleased to announce that it will provide critical care and trauma air medical services from Anderson County Ambulance Service in mid November following standard aircraft inspection processes.

In its continued effort to provide “Healthcare for Kentuckians by Kentuckians”, KAT will provide customers in Anderson County and adjacent counties an advanced degree of customer input, evaluation, and direction.  KAT will provide services, aviation and medical, which meet or exceed the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Service’s Standards for Transport Care. 

KAT President, Gary Stromberg states, “ KAT is honored to have the opportunity to act as an adjunct to the high level of care and proven service excellence provided by Anderson County Ambulance Service and other surrounding community services.”

K.A.T. - Kentucky Aeromedical Team is a multi-aircraft, high quality, community - based program with advanced customer service expectations and motivated to provide for local control and evaluation.  K.A.T. provides critical care and trauma services to Central and Eastern Kentucky.
