KAT signs agreement to provide service from Marymount Medical Center

LEXINGTON — Kentucky Aeromedical Team (KAT) is pleased to announce that it will provide critical care and trauma air medical services from Marymount Medical Center in London, KY effective December 30, 2003.

In its continued effort to provide “Healthcare for Kentuckians by Kentuckians”, KAT will provide Marymount Medical Center and its customers an advanced degree of customer input, evaluation, and direction.  In addition, the local medical staff and hospital administration will experience increased participation in operational and quality improvement activities.  KAT will provide services, aviation and medical, which meet or exceed the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Service’s Standards for Transport Care. 

K.A.T. - Kentucky Aeromedical Team is a multi-aircraft, high quality, community - based program with advanced customer service expectations and motivated to provide for local control and evaluation.  K.A.T. provides critical care and trauma services to Central and Eastern Kentucky.
