Paramedic running as write-in candidate for governor

LOUISVILLE — Stacy Abner, an eastern Kentucky paramedic from McKee, Kentucky, is one of two official write-in candidates for governor.

Abner filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State last month.

Abner feels that he has a better understanding of blue collar workers than the other candidates.

According to Abner's Internet site (http://www.4freedom4ever.com/), Abner wrote "I am fed up with the current political system in this state and country."

"I struggle on a daily basis just like you." Abner wrote. "In my opinion, Fletcher, Chandler, nor any other politician knows what the real world is like. I do, I live in it every day. I have flipped burgers, drove trucks, worked in factories, and now work as Paramedic in south east Kentucky."

Abner can be reached through his Internet site, by e-mail at sabner@prtcnet.org, or by phone at 606-965-7026.
