WASHINGTON,
D.C. —
The
House Ways and Means Committee may start Thursday “marking up” the
Medicare reform bill, which would include the ambulance funding provision.
In this phase
of the NAC lobbying initiative, the National Ambulance Coalition is asking
you to call the following Ways and Means Committee members and urge them not
to exclude your state in the bill, as the Committee did last year.
-
Phil
Crane (R-Illinois) – Legislative Director Shalla Ross at 202-225-3711
-
Clay
Shaw (R-Fla.) -- Legislative Aide Christine Pollack at 202-225-3026
-
Dave
Camp (R-Mich.) – Legislative Director Deirdre Onizuk at 202-225-3561
-
Mac
Collins (R-Georgia) – Legislative Aide Shawn Friesen at 202-225-5901
-
Rob
Portman (R-Ohio) – Legislative Aide Tim Miller at 202-225-3164
-
Jerry
Weller (R-Illinois) – Legislative Director Alan Tennille at
202-225-3635
-
Ron
Lewis (R-Kentucky) – Senior Legislative Aide Philip Hays at
202-225-3501
-
Mark
Foley (R-Fla.) – Legislative Counsel Bradley Schreiber at 202-225-5792
-
Paul
Ryan (R- Wisc.) – Legislative Director Leah Uhlmann at 202-225-3031
-
Eric
Cantor (R-Virginia) – Legislative Aide Bill Dolbow at 202-225-2815
Please
call the legislative aide in the office of the congressman from your state
and educate him or her on the issue. Simply: our states were cut out of
additional funding in last year’s Medicare reform bill. Please don’t let
this happen again in this year’s bill.
