Hospital town meeting on helicopter flights set VERSAILLES — Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles will hold a town meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the proposed increase in air ambulance flights from the hospital. LifeNet Air Ambulance Services has expressed an interest in basing a helicopter on the hospital property at 360 Amsden Avenue, but residents in the neighborhood have expressed concerns about safety, flight paths, noise and liability. LifeNet anticipates that the chopper would make two landings and two takeoffs each day. The meeting will be held in the hospital's second-floor conference room.
