Louisville gains five new paramedics and new director

LOUISVILLE — Five new paramedics and a new director were sworn in by Louisville Mayor David Armstrong this afternoon at a Louisville Fire and Rescue promotional ceremony.

Promoted to fire paramedic were Suzanne M. Bernert, Mary C. Burns, Michael W. Christensen, Allison L. Shake, and Kim L. Tingle.

Promoted to fire assistant chief was Leslie E. Bandy, who will command the EMS division.

Chief Gregory W. Frederick presided over the ceremony.
