Kentucky Cabinet for Health Services Office of Certificate of Need
Newsletter.
Formal review proposals
scheduled for decision on June 19, 2002:

CON #010-10-2454(6), MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
INC, Grayson, Carter Count. Expand existing
Class II Ambulance Service to include Carter County utilizing two
additional vehicles. $123,100.00

CON #036-11-1373(2), LEFT BEAVER VOL FIRE DEPARTMENT
AND RESCUE SQUAD, Hi Hat, Floyd County.
Expand existing class I (ALS/BLS) to include all of Floyd County
utilizing existing five vehicles. $0.00
Letters of intent received:

Grayson Fire Department, Grayson, Carter
County. Establish a Class I (ALS/BLS) ground ambulance service to
serve the city of Grayson and Carter County. 2/25/02.

Kingscreek Ambulance Service, Whitesburg,
Letcher County. Establish a Class II ambulance service for the area of
Grodon, parts of Linefork, Kingscreek and Cowan. 2/25/02.

Oldham County Emergency Medical Services,
LaGrange, Henry County. Establish a Class I (ALS/BLS) ground ambulance
