Winchester seeking input on Pertrach and RSI By
Major ERIC HUNTER WINCHESTER — Winchester Fire-EMS is considering the use of the Pertrach device and Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) by the department. We are trying to determine the number of Kentucky Class I ground ambulances currently using the Pertrach device as an emergency cricothyrotomy device and/or using RSI in field situations. Please contact Major Eric Hunter at (859) 744-1587 or by email at ehunter@winchesterky.com if your service is using the Pertrach or RSI.
