ARC: Thanks, Kentucky EMS

LOUISVILLE — A card came in the mail today from the Big Rivers Chapter of the American Red Cross that reads:

Dear members of the Kentucky EMS Conference:

Thank you for your gift of $785.59 for the Disaster Relief Fund. At this time of national tragedy, your generous help is greatly appreciated.

The donation was collected during the 2001 Kentucky EMS Conference and Expo last week in Owensboro.

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
