MTS expands service area

ASHLAND — Medical Transportation Service of Ashland, Kentucky, has expanded their service area to include Greenup County, Kentucky, as of Wednesday, July 25.

MTS expanded its class II license, adding two more vehicles. 

Chuck Williams, Project Manager for MTS, says "MTS will not interfere with the current emergency services in Greenup County, but hope to free up some of the emergency vehicles now being used to make transports from the hospital, the Ashland-Bellefonte Cancer Treatment Center as well as routine transports."

Williams also said "MTS is standing ready to fill the needs of all Greenup County residents."
