Lanes to be closed on I-65

LOUISVILLE — From tonight through Saturday night the southbound lanes of I-65 between mile markers 26 and 31 will be closed to prepare switching traffic to the newly completed median.

It's possible that one northbound lane will also be closed to correct some barrier wall ends.

The traffic switch is scheduled for early Sunday morning and is expected to be completed by noon.

There is a possibility of a rolling road block early Sunday morning to stripe the transitions on the existing pavement.
