Former Caldwell County dispatcher indicted Associated Press PRINCETON — A former 911 dispatch supervisor has been indicted on 24 counts of theft from the Pennyrile Emergency Assistance Center. Rebecca Merrick, 46, of Princeton, is accused of writing 24 checks to herself during a nine-month period. Commonwealth Attorney G.L. Ovey said the indictment was returned Wednesday by a Caldwell grand jury and involves the theft of about $28,000.
