Fire destroys inside of DHP ambulance station

PIKEVILLE — According to WYMT-TV, the DHP ambulance station located on Chloe Road in Pikeville caught on fire around 2:00 p.m. Monday.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire.

Officials say no vehicles were damaged in the fire, and most of the equipment was also saved from any damage.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.

DHP has two other stations in Pike County, located in Dorton and Coal Run.
