KBEMS needs total Medicare dollars owed

FRANKFORT — The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services needs your help! Please either call or e-mail Keith Smith, EMS Advisor/Inspector (502) 564-8161, ext. 3793 (keithl.smith@mail.state.ky.us) the current amount of dollars owed by Medicare. Also, please state whether your claims are being processed any quicker or if there is a high number of denials or claims in review.

This information is being used to inform the Lt. Governor - Dr. Steve Henry, the status of claims submitted by ambulance providers to Medicare (Adminastar).
