Course offers info in treating the chemically contaminated patient

LOUISVILLE — The Kentucky Emergency Response Commission is offering three classes in the assessment, treatment and transportation of the contaminated patient.

Classes will be taught by the University of Louisville Hazardous Materials Training Center Faculty.

One class, in Louisville, wraps up today. Two others are scheduled in:

  • September 18 - 20 in Lexington
  • September 26 - 28 in Campbell County.

The course offers 13 continuing education hours for EMS personnel.
