Friday's shooting in southern Fayette County as presented by Lexington police Lt. James A. Curless:

3:31 p.m.: Police were dispatched to a call of a shooting of a female, bleeding from the head. Police dispatchers shared that information with the fire department.

3:33 p.m.: Police were dispatched to 8645 Adams Lane.

3:40 p.m.: Engine 18 arrived carrying Lt. Brenda Cowan and two of her comrades.

3:42 p.m.: Emergency Care Unit 2 arrived at the scene.

3:45 p.m.: Police arrived at the scene.

3:47 p.m.: A firefighter was shot, and it was first called in on radio. Officer Thomas Richards arrived and placed his vehicle in the line of fire to protect emergency crews. Officers then worked on removing the victims.

4:48 p.m.: Police and firefighters were removed from the scene. The standoff began.

9:46 p.m.: After enduring more than an hour of a variety of chemical agents, Pat Hutchinson emerged from the house. He was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
